The Trainings and Capacity Building Wing of Green Leaf Environmental Services (GLES) is dedicated to strengthening knowledge, skills, and practical understanding of environmental and social management across projects and communities. GLES has conducted numerous capacity enhancement sessions in areas including Environmental and Social (E&S) management, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, climate change impacts on gender and vulnerable groups, workplace safety, GBV case management, inclusion, SDGs, and disaster risk frameworks such as Sendai, all in alignment with SEPA and national environmental regulations.

Our sessions are highly interactive and practical, incorporating field surveys, role-playing exercises, case studies, and pre and post-training assessments using digital tools like KoboToolBox to measure learning outcomes and track progress. This ensures that participants apply knowledge effectively in real-world scenarios, while fostering a culture of compliance, inclusion, and proactive environmental and social risk management.

Through these initiatives, GLES empowers communities, project teams, and partner organizations to address emerging challenges, raise awareness of rights and best practices, and strengthen collaboration with relevant agencies for Early Warning Systems (EWS), anticipatory action, and disaster risk reduction (DRR). By combining hands-on training with modern digital tools, GLES ensures that capacity building is practical, measurable, and impactful, leading to sustainable outcomes across projects and sectors.
